    A.C.Tayler  started this store in 1895. He operatedthe store until 1907 when he sold the store to C.M. Kidd    

.        He took Harvey Fields as a partner in 1910 and sold the store to Harvey Fields and V.A. Norris in 1935.

                         Aubry ("Aub") Norris had started working in the store in 1924. Aubry Norris and Harvey Fields operated the store first as Kidd's, then in 1951 as Norfield. In 1962 Aub Norris purchased the remaining stock and renamed the store Norris Shoes.

Aubry's son John joined Norris Shoes after collage, and became a co-owner along with his wife Dianne, in the mid-seventies and eventually purchased the entire business from his father.  John retired in early 2006, selling the business to Jim and Linda Heath, who are the current owners.
