Ed Redfield came to work at Norris Shoes in March of 1975.  Prior to being employed by Norris Shoes, Ed worked for Kinney Shoes on 4th and Riverside in Medford, and before that with Kinney Shoes in Portland, Oregon.

In 1978, John and Dianne Norris asked Ed to operate the Red Wing Shoe Store in the Bear Creek Plaza. During his tenure as manager of the Red Wing Shoe Store, he won several display contests and accumulated many achievement awards from Red Wing Shoe Co.

Ed's hobbies include metal detecting, fishing, mountain bike riding, and hiking..

When Ed completed high school in Sandy, Oregon, he enlisted for a stint in the US Navy. After being discharged from the Navy, Ed moved to Medford.

Ed and his wife Karen have been married 32 years, and have two children, Brett 24, currently serving in the U.S. Navy,  and Travis, 17, now attending Phoenix High School as a Junior.
