For years, model # 866 has been a staple of Red Wing's line. Originally designed as a sporting field boot, #866 has gained wide acceptance as a boot ideal for the construction trade. The micro-cellular crepe' sole, which has thousands of minute air pockets, gives great traction on roofs and open framing on freshly constructed buildings, and provides the wearer with great lateral stability and cushioning underfoot. Another added plus is that this sole does not pick up nearly as much mud as other soles around new developments. This boot has been in Red Wing's line for over 30 years.
